I was thirsty and you gave me drink.
Around the world clean water is simply unavailable to many thousands of people. The little water they find often contains so many dangerous bacteria that water-borne illness becomes one of the greatest threats to human life. Thousands of infants and adults die each year because the water they drank was contaminated. Halle Joy invests in digging deep wells in needy villages, and makes clean drinking water available for everyone.

I was naked and you clothed me.
There are millions of children all around the world who are in need of every day basic items. Halle Joy is dedicated to various groups who make it their mission to create hope and happiness for children. From clothing to shelter, Halle Joy desires to ensure that these children know care and true joy.

I was sick and you visited me.
Even though it is treatable, malaria kills over one million people per year—many of them children. In fact, scores of conditions routinely and successfully treated here, result in chronic illness, pain, and often death in countries where medical care is not available. Halle Joy sends volunteer physicians, dentists, and other medical personnel to hospitals and clinics around the world.

I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
Disaster can strike close to home or far overseas. It may be the overwhelming floods of Katrina, or the devastating earthquakes in Haiti – everywhere, there are people who have suddenly found themselves in desperate need. Halle Joy helps provide basic supplies such as food, medicine, clothing, and more to disaster-ridden areas around the world.
